Book (Dec 1998) Page(s) 358. Includes photo(s). 'Legacy Jubilee'. Modern, large-flowered/hybrid tea. Yellow blend. Repeat flowering. The long pointed buds on this variety open into colorful blooms of yellow with a border of red along the petal edges. The flowers are quite large, finally open cupped, and yield a rather sharp but satisfying fragrance. Blooming continues with good succession through summer and autumn, the flowers withstanding the warm conditions of Australia well and being suitable for general garden purposes there; it is doubtful if the variety has ever been tested in cooler climates. The plant grows vigorously with an upright habit and is furnished with large glossy leaves. The name commemorates a special date in the history of a Legacy Club in the raiser’s home state of Victoria. Zones 4-9. Dawson, Australlia 1974. Parentage: ‘Great Venture’ x ‘Fred Streeter’
