Book (1967) p25. Roy and Heather Rumsey, NSW. New Roses. First Lady HT. A lovely new variety in a deep shell pink. The blooms have about 30 nicely placed petals, and are held on good stems. Free flowering and in every way an acquisition. This rose, sent to us from a continental source, is not the same as the variety of the same name registered in America. We are endeavouring to straighten this out, as both are likely to be available in Australia, which will obviously cause confusion.
