'Royal Velvet' rose Description

Dark red Hybrid Tea. Registration name: Royal Velvet (hybrid tea, Meilland 1959)
Bloom:
Dark red. Flowers rich, velvety cardinal red. Weak stems. 55 to 65 petals. Average diameter 5". Large, very full (41+ petals) bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season.
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default). Can be used for cut flower or garden. Vigorous.
Notes:
Modern Roses 10 says this rose is extinct.
