Bean Rock (MAClouisi) McGredy 2000: Garden rating 5.2 Exhibition rating 4.0. Many health problems: No fragrance: Medium height. Salmon pink flowers. Canterbury - a disappointing rose. Marlborough - extremely thorny and few good blooms. Otago - bloody awful with rust and powdery mildew. Manawatu says the worst rose of recent release and it's gone, gone, gone.

Bean Rock (MAClouisi) McGredy 2000; 6 reports on 11 bushes; 1-2 years; 1.2 metres; 6.7 rating. Salmon pink blooms. Strong grower with maroon coloured new foliage. North Taranaki finds adverse weather marks the blooms. Otago had plenty of canes in its first year but not many flowers. Waikato feels that the rose has promise. North Otago likes having lots of petals on the blooms and also the strong growth, but they had a problem with spider mites. Canterbury had powdery mildew and small foliage.
