Liger (Thé). — Arbuste demi-sarmenteux; bouton rond et très gros; fleur grande, très pleine, bien faite, en coupe, variant du rose tendre au rose foncé, centre rouge foncé; odeur très pénétrante. Les cinq variétés précédentes sont mises au commerce par M. Chauvry, rosiériste, 115, allées de Boutant, à Bordeaux. Les deux derniers sont des gains de M. R. Berland.
Translation: New Roses of 1899-1900 Madame C. Liger (Tea). — A semi-climbing shrub; the bud is round and quite fat; the large, cupped flower is quite full and well formed, varying between soft rose and dark pink, with a deep red center; the fragrance is very penetrating. The five preceding varieties are introduced to commerce by Mr. Chauvry, rosarian, 115 allées de Boutant, in Bordeaux. The last two were raised by Mr. R. Berland.]
