Introduced in Australia by Charles Wyatt, Frogmore Nursery in 1868 as 'Jean Cherpin'.

Purple, red center.  Very large, semi-double to double bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Hardy.
