Origin:
Bred by François Lacharme (France, 1866).
Introduced in France by François Lacharme in 1885 as 'Clara Cochet'.
Introduced in Australia by C. F. Newman and Sons - Adelaide in 1894 as 'Clara Cochet'.
Class:
Hybrid Perpetual.  
Bloom:
Light pink, darker center, silver(y) edges.  Very large, full (26-40 petals), globular bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Armed with thorns / prickles.  Dark green foliage.  5 to 7 leaflets.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Vigorous.

Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
Clara Cochet (December 19, 1864 - December 10, 1965), daughter of Scipion Cochet, married her cousin Pierre Cochet in 1889.
