Bred by Jacques-Julien Margottin père (1817-1892) (France, 1849).

Class:

Hybrid Bourbon, Hybrid Perpetual.

Bloom:

Cerise to carmine-pink. Average diameter 2.75". Medium, double (17-25 petals), in small clusters, cupped bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season. Leafy sepals buds.

Habit:

Few or no prickles/thorns, upright. Medium, dark green foliage. 3 to 5 leaflets.

Growing:

USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
