Anita's Apricot Fantasy has beautifully shaped buds, but the bush tends to be a little leggy and not as compact as I would like. It's "legginess" may be due to its location by a hybrid tea, and may need more sun than it is getting in its present location.

Your comment about how you have sited the rose impacting its growth is right on the money ! Roses planted where they do not get sufficient sunlight will "reach for the sun" and that, in turn, will make them quite leggy. Also, you will find you will have more prolific bloom if you move the plant to a sunnier location.

Smiles,

Lyn
