Bloom:
Pink. Strong, damask fragrance. 20 to 30 petals. Average diameter 4". Large, double (17-25 petals), borne mostly solitary bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season.
Habit:
Tall, climbing, thornless (or almost). Matte, light green foliage. Height of 10' to 15' (305 to 455 cm). Width of 6' to 8' (185 to 245 cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 5b through 10b. Can be used for cut flower, garden, hedge, landscape, pillar or shrub. Hardy. vigorous. can be grown as a shrub. can be trained as a climber. shade tolerant. Disease susceptibility: susceptible to blackspot , susceptible to Mildew. Remove spent blooms to encourage re-bloom.
Notes:
Some question about classification. [ See References.] Some growers have found plants were troubled by mildew until well established.
