Central Texas - USA. I've had this one for 3 years. Nice enough flowers, Production is low. I might forgive that on a young plant that struggled the first year, but it really shuts down in hot weather and the black spot is never ending. Will pull this one this year and make space for something with a bit more tolerant of fungus.

I love the color of the rose, and perfect for her name sake. My first year with her, and I love her. But oh my god, the rust on her is terrible!! She continues to bloom throughout the rust...trying a new solution to that actinovate...hope it works or she will have to go.

Did you get any response to your question? I'm also considering ET, and I'd be interested in those bits of information too.

I have added the patent and the plant characteristics for 'Elizabeth Taylor'.

This rose was one of the first roses ever added to the HMF database and as the site has evolved there is much more information on the rose pages than when HMF was young. We have been going back and adding plant characteristics, but haven't updated all of the roses. We're workin' on it.

Lyn

Hi. Thanks for the info. I assume you meant five fee to six feet, rather than five inches to six inches! This is especially helpful in knowing that this plan should go to the BACK of the rose bed.
