Single Roses
These are Hybrid Tea Roses with single or almost single flowers, and require the same culture and care as the other Hybrid Teas. They are often called the "Irish Singles", although they are not all of Irish origin. The buds are especially fine, but the open flowers are rather perishable although they are very freely produced.

Single Roses.
In our Nurseries there are no more attractive objects than the Irish single varieties, and they are so marvellously free flowering that it is impossible to say too much in their praise. During the entire growing season they are virtually always in bloom, and their lasting properties are most surprising.
