Origin:
Bred by Ludwig Weigand (Germany, before 1910).
Introduced in France by Corboeuf-Marsault as 'Sodenia'.
Introduced in Australia by Law, Somner Pty. Ltd. in 1913 as 'Sodenia'.
Class:
Hybrid Wichurana, Rambler.  
Bloom:
Carmine-pink, lighter veining.  Medium, full (26-40 petals), in large clusters bloom form.  Spring or summer flush with scattered later bloom.  
Habit:
Climbing.  Glossy, dark green foliage.  

Height: up to 9'10" (up to 300cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 5b through 9b.  Very vigorous.

Notes:
