Bred by Jean-Marie Gaujard (1903-1995) (France, 1967).
Introduced in France by Jean-Marie Gaujard in 1973 as 'Château de Chenonceaux'.

Bloom:
Orange-pink to seashell-pink.  Mild to strong fragrance.  45 petals.  Large, very full (41+ petals) bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Upright.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).

Notes:
Modern Roses 10 says this rose is a parent of 'Meduse', which see.
