Fantasia (Kordes, 1974).
The colour of this rose is described as cherry pink with cream reverse. In the references it is also referred to as lilac red. Between MR10 and MR 12 it moves from the lilac to the cherry. The two photographs uploaded on April 15th 2022 are of the same bloom but taken at different angles and showing the colour variation. Provenance of the bush is Thomas For Roses where the catalogue reads: Fantasia 74 (Kordes) lilac red , yellow reverse, fragrant, tall. The original plant label is still attached and just readable.

Are there multiple 'Fantasia'??? Like, the Zorina one seems more plausible as a grandparent for 'Estelle', but its all a bit obscure.

I think there are. Info in refs is dribbling in. I think we have: 1974 Fantasia KORfan (Silver Star x Tradition) possibly pink. 1977 Fantasia KOR.... (Zorina x seedling) possibly orange And I am looking with evil eyes at 1998 Fantasia KORprovia (unknown x unknown) apricot blend.

re: Korfan. This is from the patent of Estelle:
"Parent `Korfan` has young blossoms that are more orange and of smaller size that are borne on shorter stems. Also, parent `Ruimeva` forms blossoms that are more red-orange in coloration."
KORfan is orange. I have also seen it listed as otherwise. This makes me wonder if there is a mistake from way back when, and there are two roses.

Lots of happy exploring to be done here. Am tied up for a couple of days but I'll put a brief comment under 'Estelle' 1997 for the moment.
