Origin:
Bred by Dobbie & Co. Ltd. (Scotland, 1932).
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1934 as 'Madge Wildfire'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Cherry-red and orange-red, light pink reverse.  Strong fragrance.  Very large, very double, borne mostly solitary, in small clusters, high-centered to cupped bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Upright, well-branched.  Reddish-purple foliage.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
