Origin:
Bred by R.B. Postans (United Kingdom, before 1881).
Introduced in United Kingdom by William Paul & Son in 1881 as 'Lady Sheffield'.
Introduced in Australia by Edwin Smith, Clifton Nursery in 1885 as 'Lady Sheffield'.
Class:
Hybrid Perpetual.  
Bloom:
Deep pink, ages to light pink .  Cherry-pink.  Moderate, centifolia fragrance.  Large, double (17-25 petals), expanded , globular, high-centered bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Few or no prickles/thorns, upright.  Large foliage.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
