Going on the first three earliest references, I am inclined to reverse the parentage to show 'Beaute Lyonnaise' x 'Irene Watts'. Does any one have any other information?
It is seemingly breeder Buatois himself who specifies "Came from ‘Beauté Lyonnaise’ (father) and ‘Irène Watts’ (mother)” (Journal des Roses vol. 24 p. 163).
It sounds like a nice rose, and, if it still exists (Sangerhausen?), it sounds well worthy of being re-entered into commerce.
