HelpMeFind's future is in your hands - Please do not take this unique resource for granted.
Your support of HelpMeFind is urgently needed. HelpMeFind, like all websites, needs funding to survive. We have set a premium-membership yearly subscription amount as low as possible to make user-community funding viable.
We are grateful to the many members who have signed up so far, but the number of premium-membership members remains too small for us to sustain the current support and development level. If you value HelpMeFind and want to see it continue we need your support too.
Yearly membership is only $2.00 per month and adds a host of additional features, and numerous planned enhancements, to take full advantage of the power and convenience of HelpMeFind. Click here to start your premium membership..
We of course also welcome donations of any amount. Click here to make a donation. Donations of $24 or more receive a thank-you gift of a 1-year premium membership.
As far as we have come, we feel HelpMeFind is still in its infancy. With your support we have so much more to accomplish.
List customization using the above LIST OPTIONS feature is an advanced feature available to premium-membership members and sponsor listings.

May 29, 2023, Occitanie, France, own roots, planted inSpring 2019. This picture may interest people planning to grow it. Sénégal is a favourite of mine, its first bloom is impressive, hypnotic flowers, as I said before very dark, velvety, yet glowing, and so scented ! Almost thornless. It is young, but would probably be huge if I didn't cut it. I am trying to grow it untrained, but the wind is messing with the strong but flexible canes it is regularly throwing. I thought planting it with a black sambucus would give support and some shade, but Sénégal is actually interfering with the sambucus' growth. I have to improve my cutting/training skills. Here is the point of this picture : I do not spray roses, and this one regularly and almost completely defoliates. It is still full of strength, but can intermittently look bad even during Spring.

4/22/23 A cold rainy spring until recently here in Southern California, Laguna Woods. More black spot than I’ve ever seen on it. But after growing Souvenir de Claudius Denoyel, Guinee, Tuscany and Tradescant how could I not grow this. Such a performer with a heady old rose fragrance. Never without a bloom after the first bombastic flush and generous fall bloom.
