Bred by BEES Ltd / Sealand Nurseries (United Kingdom, 1924).
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1925 as 'Joan Howarth'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Light pink to seashell-pink, deep pink shading, darker undertones.  Moderate fragrance.  Very large, very double, borne mostly solitary, cupped bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Short, thornless (or almost), upright.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
