'Antonia d'Ormois' rose Reviews & Comments
18 MAY 18
Received this rose from Palantine Roses in spring 2017. Unfortunately had to put it in a large pot rather than planting in the ground. I used Organic Mechanics potting soil, Neptunes harvest fish and seaweed fertilizer, neem oil for aphids and black spot, earthworm compost. Grew nicely during 2017.
In early may 2018 this bush is covered in buds. Very nice shape to bush. Delicate but sturdy enough to hold up its stems. Had a very severe hail storm, but the bush looked fine afterwards. First open flower was may 16th. Blooms are gorgeous. The smell is amazing, very strong old fashioned rose perfume smell.
