ARS:
Medium yellow Miniature.
Registration name: MORgogard
Exhibition name: Golden Gardens
Origin:
Bred by Ralph S. Moore (United States, 1988).
Introduced in United States by Sequoia Nursery, Moore Miniature Roses Historic Archive as 'Golden Gardens'.
Class:
Miniature.
Bloom:
Yellow.  None / no fragrance.  28 petals.  Small, double (17-25 petals), cupped bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.
Growing:
USDA zone 6b and warmer.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.  Can be grown in the ground or in a container (container requires winter protection).
Breeder's notes:
Per "official Sequoia documentation" the seed parent of this rose is Mr. Moore's 1-72-1. The listing here is not in error, it just lists the cross instead of the specific rose. Kim Rupert
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
1-72-1 = Little Darling × Yellow Magic (miniature, Moore 1970)
