This rose was named after a girlfriend of mine from the late 60s. Her father, Jock Stewart, was also a rose grower. They lived in Colchester. I think Mr Kemp was in poor health at the time. The rose was then in the trial grounds. I'm afraid I lost contact with the Stewarts when I moved from Colchester.
