World War II Memorial Rose ™ rose photo

I keep posting pics of this rose, because it's done such a great job for me this season doing everything a rose should do. The extended brutal heat wore off here in NM about 3 weeks ago and the resulting fall flush had huge blooms, I mean RIDICULOUSLY huge given the size of the pot, the biggest ones are more than 5 inches across. PS: I cropped out at least 12 blooms in the pic, in order to zoom in on the center... Albuquerque NM, Zone 7A, Hot and Dry, No Spray.

This has been one of my most hardworking, productive container roses in a tough season with blistering temps over an extended period of time. It puts out very full, lush blooms with an ethereal wash of pink/mauve that are both beautiful and romantic. Next season, it's going to be rewarded with a much bigger container, and I'm sure it will respond accordingly. An A+++ plant for me... Albuquerque NM, Zone 7A, Hot and Dry, No Spray. This early flower stage was so sweet and whimsical. Albuquerque NM, Zone 7A, Hot and Dry, No Spray.

This is a very large 5 inches approx bloom in the mid stage. There's something almost animalistic about this flower form, LOL... Albuquerque NM, Zone 7A, Hot and Dry, No Spray.
