Jamaica Linquist H.T. 1966 LINja 457 – Jamaica si è classificata a 14/100 dimpunto dalla vincitrice dell’AARS 1965. Mancò veramente poco che prendesse il primo premio! E’ nata da un seme di Charlotte Amstrong x Floribunda Nocturne (?). Jamaica è una ibrida di Tea dal colore brillante e scintillante che è questa isola assolata dei Caraibi. Produce grandi fiori rosso ciliegia su lunghi steli. Il suo colore vivo contrasta in maniera da spiccare con la foglia verde scuro e gli steli verdi-blu. Il bocciolo dà vita a un fiore di 35 petali finemente orlati. L’arbusto ha una vegetazione abbondante ed eretta. Rifiorisce facilmente.
Bocciolo: lunghezza media e appuntita
Fiore: doppio, di diametro di 12 cm. Consta di 35 petali in forma di ciotola.
Vegetazione: eretta, libera e vigorosa. Gli steli sono di spessore medio.
Fioritura: rosaio molto rifiorente. Fioritura non interrotta da luglio ad agosto.
Profumo: delicato.
