I still grow this once. I think for about 6 years now? It is pretty much like it is pictured -- a dwarf, brilliant red floribunda. Not particularly disease prone. Maybe 1-5 leaves lost per year, or so. Overall, a very happy, cheerful red rose. No scent whatsoever.

So, about 2' T x 2' W, in an even mound, with medium-sized sprays of semi-double blooms. It is probably a bit larger in hot climates.

Edit: Now gets 4'T in late maturity, if its a very hot summer. But not so much in a cool summer.

Hardrama is also sold in France under the name MICHEL STROGOFF. Sold by La Roseraie Laperrière, Chesnes, RN6, 38070 Saint-Quentin-Fallavier, Tel.: 04.74.94.04.36/Fax: 04.74.95.54.16/Email: rose.laperriere@wanadoo.fr
According to their catalogue, the rose has obtained two awards, but unfortunately they don't give any details.

Unfortunately, there is an old Hybrid Perpetual of the same name. Thanks for the information.

Thanks to you, Cass! Actually I have just discovered that a lot of Harkness' roses are sold just round the corner from here - whereas I was importing them directly from England ... so I've added quite a few, just in case someone else is interested ... Sorry for giving you such a lot of work.
