The island was first charted in 1754 by Captain Flint, who chose it as the burial place for his famous treasure... a group of men led by Squire Trelawney set off to try to find Flint's treasure, sailing in the Hispaniola... Almost immediately after the Hispaniola's arrival at the Island a mutiny broke out...
