Light pink.  17 to 60 petals.  Double (17-25 petals) bloom form.  Once-blooming spring or summer.  

Short, suckers on its own roots.  

Height: 18" (45cm).  

USDA zone 2b through 9b.  Very hardy.  vigorous.

The correct name of this rose and the its finder is 'John Allan'. See References for the 1944 article in the American Rosa Annual by the introducer of the rose, naming it 'John Allan.'

The correct name is 'John Allan' as verified with his widow in N. Battleford, SK. [Brian Porter]) Species collected from wild in S. Sask by John Allan. Recurrent [Phillips/ Migneault] collected near N. Dakota border [Olsen] May be same parentage as 'Woodrow' but with more pollen. See American Rose Annual 1944 where P. Wright spells it 'Allan.'
