Peter Wood reports on the British Rose Festival at Hampton Court. 
The rose growers launched eleven new roses.  The Whitgift Rose is named to mark the 40th anniversary of the eminent school in Croydon.  It is a fragrant pink HT rose and sales will benefit the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children.  The rose was bred by Adrian Carlisle [?] and introduced by Bill LeGrice Roses.
