If you check the rose page for Carefree Marvel you will see that it is classified as a shrub rose and can be used for a groundcover.

Its pretty much a true groundcover, unlike most roses of this type. It wanted to grow mostly sideways, and its not overly large or nasty in doing so. Its a nice rose, in my experience.

Is this one really hardy to zone 2?

Thank you ! According to the plant patent the rose has proven to be hardy to -15 F, which would put it in zone 5a.
We count on the rose community to catch errors like this in the HMF database.
