Origin:
Bred by Louis Lens (1924-2001) (Belgium, 1985).
Introduced in Belgium by Lens Roses/Louis Lens N.V./Pépinières Louis Lens SA in 1992 as 'Red Robin'.
Class:
Rambler, Shrub.  
Bloom:
Carmine-pink, white streaks.  Strong fragrance.  12 to 16 petals.  Average diameter 1.5".  Small, semi-double (9-16 petals), cluster-flowered bloom form.  Once-blooming spring or summer.  
Habit:
Arching, climbing.  Small foliage.  

Height: 4'11" to 6'7" (150 to 200cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).

Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
Blooms in May / June. While described as a shrub and non-climber, the plant in Sangerhausen is definitely a rambler.
