I heard the same thing from another source but still can't confirm the parentage.
I bought this bush bareroot in Spring 2007. It started vigorously enough but it stalled and never got very tall. I think that was because it is very prone to blackspot and I had a very hard time trying to keep it clean. I will try to give it one more year and be more aggressive controlling the blackspot and hopefully it will respond and get taller and add canes thus giving more roses. If it doesn't improve Spring 2010 I will SP it.
