    Bred by Jean-Baptiste André (fils) Guillot (1827-1893) (France, 1883).
    Introduced in Australia by George Brunning - St. Kilda Nurseries in 1897 as 'Antoine Mermet'.

    Bloom:
    Carmine-pink, white edges.  Strong fragrance.  Large, double (17-25 petals), cupped bloom form.  
    Growing:
    USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Vigorous.
