Did you mean Die Rosen? Or Das Rosenbuch, edited by Wilhelm Mutze and Camillo Schneider?

Behcet, is it possible there are two roses: Rudolf Schmidt and Frau Rudolf Schmidt? Just a thought about the name.

Cass, I think they are the same. There are several cases where the Frau part gets lost sometimes, e.g. Frau Anna Hinner/Anna Hinner, Frau Elise Kreis(Else (sic) Kreis, Frau Berthe Kiese/Bertha Kiese. If the descriptions are very different, then I would investigate whether there were two roses, but it wasn't the case until now.
