Kate Rainbow: Is hard to describe as it is sometimes pink and at others bordering on a deep carmine. Through the colours runs an ample measure of gold and yellow. Exhibition shape on very long stems like Hoover.

Kate Rainbow is a rather short, attractive bloom of pink and gold, but, so far, growth is only moderate. It may improve later.

New Roses 1936.  Kate Rainbow (HT. G. Beckwith & Son 1935) A very difficult colour to describe. It is  striking blend of various glowing pinks and golds, and is most attractive. The flowers are extra large and full, of elegant shape and carried on erect stems, while the growth is very vigorous. 4/- each.
Plants arrived late and have not flowered to date 29/2/36.
