Book (2000) Page(s) 100. Gerard Williams. Review of the Newer Roses for the 1999-2000 Season. Lincolnshire Poacher (GLAreabit); Langdale 1996; maize yellow with orange/pink edges; 3 reports on 4 bushes; 1-5 years; 1.4 metres; 7.3 rating. Mid-green dense foliage. Kaitaia love the bush, but not the flowers. Manawatu find the growth bushy. The blooms are of good form, but on the small side. Best in spring and autumn, but wishy-washy in summer. Another Manawatu grower says it makes a splendid HT with reflexed petals. Can use it as a decorative or an exhibition for showing. Love it, they say.
