Marilyn Stevens. The British Rose Festival at Hampton Court.
Rose of Year 2001 Great Expectations from Sam McGredy and introduced by C. & K. Jones, was displayed in a novel interpretation of it's name. Sprays of this attractive rose were arranged in a baby buggy, bath and even a potty! Festooned with streamers and pink and blue balloons, it conveyed a mood of 'great expectation'.
