Bred by Paul Barden (United States, 2001).
Introduced in United States by The Uncommon Rose Historic Archive in 2001 as 'Mel Hulse'.
Class:
Moss, Moss - Modern.  
Bloom:
Mauve or purple blend.  None to mild fragrance.  26 to 40 petals.  Average diameter 3.5".  Medium, full (26-40 petals), cluster-flowered, in large clusters, flat bloom form.  Moderate, blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Mossed, rounded buds.  
Habit:
Medium, armed with thorns / prickles, bushy.  Medium, glossy, medium green, leathery foliage.  

Height: 2' to 3' (60 to 90cm).  Width: 2' to 3' (60 to 90cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Can be used for container rose, cut flower or garden.  Vigorous.  Disease susceptibility: very disease resistant.  Remove spent blooms to encourage re-bloom.  Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood..  Prune lightly or not at all.
