This rose is frequently referred to as "The Rose of Many Names", or its acronym TROMN, on the Antique Roses Forum. Could they be added as synonyms, so that finding its information here would be easier than knowing one of its many "names"?

The rose was a gift from Mel Hulse of The San Jose Heritage Rose Garden some years ago. Reportedly, it was collected from the grave of Sam Hill.

Pretty sure "Requa Plot" is the same rose. I grew several of whatever this is, including Requa . . .

In Western Australia I have what seems a very similar rose to these American foundlings. But I just cannot see enough from the photos to judge if it may be the same. HelpMefind really needs more identifying photos of
1. Pedicel
2. Receptacle - showing glands or no.
3. Buds - in various stages
4. Sepals - the normal if known (mine have been very foliacious at times)
5. Stipule - if possible showing glandular or not, stalked or not.

I'll try to get around to putting my foundling into HelpMefind soon. It's name is "Eileen Giblett's No. 15".
