"0001] The new variety of Floribunda rose plant was created by artificial pollination wherein two parents were crossed which previously had been studied in the hope that they would contribute the desired characteristics. The female parent (i.e., the seed parent) of the new variety was the ‘Red Ace’ variety (U.S. Plant Pat. No. 4,840). The male parent (i.e., the pollen parent) of the new variety was the ‘Idole’ variety (non-patented in the United States). The parentage of the new variety can be summarized as follows:

Michael, can I have the shortcut to the patent please. I thought I would double check whether the patent is for ‘Tamango’, OLIjdum, Meilland, 2006 or for ‘Sunstar’ KORcut0001 – which is a yellow florists rose (and might answer your question yellow florist rose 'Idole' question)

Thank you. Parentage added. That number 0001 was just a coincidence, but it is always good to double check.

Thank you. I looked more for the two yellows I say, 'Idole' and 'Moonwalk', but I gave up. I found their photos online, and that 'Idole' is aka 'Elle' (not the AARS winner 'Elle'), but I cannot find their origins. I gave up.
