Konrad Henkyll This is a good rose. Growth is medium wfth attractive, disease resistant foliage. Colour is dark red with a fiery overlay. Plenty of flowers. Many of the flowers on young plants had badly split centres, but they have improved with each season. Not every flower is of specimen bloom standard but there are always a number of really good ones. At its best makes a bunch that is almost breathtaking in its beauty. Flowers are rather slow to open so can suffer from inclement weather.
