Palatine purchase planted early spring 2017. WAY taller than it was supposed to be, I planted it right against the rock garden intending to put a "taller" one behind it The flowers are a tiny bit darker than other photos I have seen. Towering close to 8 feet on a few of its canes. Zone 5, and was purchased grafted on "hardy multiflora rootstock". Palatine does this and it seems to help hardiness, the roots are IMMENSE when they cone bare rooted like that.

Grown in the shade in a hot/dry area of Northern California, this rose grows as a short climber. Grafted on multilfora.
