....and very very similar to the Australian foundling “Lewes Kell”, Growing these side by side, I saw for the first time this year the characteristic that Pat Toolan often mentioned that ‘Felicite Perpetue’s petals are more flattened, and “Lewes Kell”s petals are more incurved. But the differences are only slight.

For Tomartyr in New Zealand. Your photos look remarkably like the photo of 'Gallande' that Anne Belovich has included in her 2016 book, so I think your guess of this rose was a good one. We have a similar foundling from South Australia called "Lewes Kell" and I believe that perhaps we should also be considering 'Gallande'. Anne's photo does show a couple of horrendous prickles for which "Lewes Kell" is well known.
