Centifolias are known as far back as the late 17th century. They have marvelous fragrance and "cabbage rose" like floral form. Centifolias are sometimes called "hundred petaled" roses because their globular very double flowers.
Most Centifolias have an arching or draping form and grow to 6' or more.
