Bred by Charles Mallerin (France, 1934).
Introduced in France by Henri Guillot in 1935 as 'Jacques Latouche'.
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1937 as 'Jacques Latouche'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Vermilion, yellow reverse, ages to orange-pink .  Moderate fragrance.  Very large, double (17-25 petals), borne mostly solitary bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Large, long buds.  
Habit:
Upright.  Glossy, medium green foliage.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
