This variety is completely Blackspot and Mildew free without the use of Fungicides in my Pacific Northwest garden. However, it does occasionally get a bit of rust. It makes an excellent 6 X 6 foot rounded shrub, constantly in flower. Bloom color is always bright and unfading. Very attractive and highly recommended.

I would also say that it is 100% thornless in my experience.

Paul, the HMF description says it is a once bloomer with occasional repeats. Any idea whether the description is an error?

Don,
'My Stars' definitely blooms in flushes, but at least four per year, and heavily each time. This is far from being a stingy repeater.

Modern Roses also says that it has a white reverse, but the bud pictured shows a nice rose red with a yellow eye. Is there a white reverse you've seen?

It seems to be lost to commerce. Seems a shame.

The description of the white reverse is correct. It is white.
