Bred by Cecilia L. (Dee) Bennett (United States, 2005).
Introduced in United States by Tiny Petals Miniature Rose Nursery Historic Archive in 2005 as 'Rowdy Roy'.

Class:

Bloom:

Light and dark pinks to burgundy with streaks, stripes and flecks of many shades of pinks and white. None to mild fragrance. Average diameter 2.75". Large, full (26-40 petals), borne mostly solitary bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season.

Habit:

Short, compact. Medium, matte, medium green foliage.

Height: 2' to 30" (60 to 75cm).

Growing:

USDA zone 6b through 10b. Can be used for beds and borders, container rose, cut flower or garden. Remove spent blooms to encourage re-bloom. Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.

Breeder's notes:

Color ranges from scarlet to deep burgandy with pink to white striping.

Notes:

The blooms can range from bright scarlet to deep burgundy with stripes of white and/or pink, depending upon the climate and growing conditions. The low growing bush makes loads of brilliantly striped blooms with an old garden look. The colorful flowers last for many days on the bush and in cut bouquets. The healthy bush is perfect for brightening up the garden or in a container for a sunny location. This will be one of the first roses to bloom each year and make a nearly continuous display throughout the blooming season.
