Little Gem Moss. William Paul (UK) 1880. A pretty little rose, which grows to 3 or 4 feet, well covered with small neat leaves. the buds are not very mossy, and enclose tightly-packed blooms of light crimson, opening to flat pompon blooms. The colouring is uniform. Also grown under the name of 'Validé'.

'Little Gem'. (1880). Lightly mossed buds open to small very double light crimson pompom-like flowers which are very fragrant. The plant is compact in growth and will reach more than a metre.
