E. F. Allen, Awards To New Rose Seedlings In Great Britain In 1980.
'Lovers Meeting' (Seedling x 'Egyptian Treasure'). A cluster-flowered rose with H.T. shaped buds, by Gandy, of Lutterworth. The very bright orange-vermilion flowers have virtually no scent, but they make a remarkable visual impact and this seedling was superbly shown at the Autumn Show, Westminster, in September. Its buds should prove excellent for button-holes. Certificate of Merit
