Blooms are exquisite!! Large, but delicate and a true clear white.
I'm normally not a big fan of single roses, but Gideon Lincecum makes me think again.
It is also quite healthy and has a well-mannered growth habit. Once again, its fragrance eludes me, but its virtues make up for that.

Although the parentage is technically correct, I feel it should be listed as:
[(Carefree Beauty x Basye's Blueberry) x (Carefree Beauty x Basye's Blueberry)] x Mrs. Oakley-Fisher
I say this because when "Self" is listed in the parentage the bloodline percentages are not accurate.

Singularly Beautiful Roses
As healthy as any rose I grow here in central GA. Very black spot resistant.

This is a robust plant down here in Texas. It blooms and blooms and will set hips at the drop of a hat. It is a very good white-white rose. As with most white single/semi roses - it starts to look untidy a times because the old flowers look bad. When in full bloom you don't notice - especially from across the yard. The foliage is just lovely and ages well.
This great rose is available from the Antique Rose Emporium. I picked mine up at their retail outlet in the fall of 2011, but it shows as in-stock online here in the Spring of 2012.
